As a multidisciplinary assistant, you are part of a team that reports to the ambassador, his partner or his delegate. You will be assigned to one of the three clusters, with assisting tasks in the two other clusters:
Cluster 1: Cleaning of the residence and its surroundings:
- in all rooms, dusting, hoovering and cleaning the floors with the appropriate products (depending on the surfaces)
- removing dust from furniture, objects and carpets and ventilating the premises
- clearing up
- cleaning the kitchen and the dishes, disposal of waste
- cleaning windows
- care and storage of household linen and clothing (sorting the laundry, washing, ironing, folding and tidying, sewing, etc.)
- changing the sheets and making the beds
- indoor plant care and maintenance
- providing support to other clusters
Cluster 2: Management of the representative activities at the residence, including cooking:
- doing the shopping (for food or other things) according to the available budget in order to replenish stocks
- preparing meals for ambassador and family, as well as for small-scale events and receptions
- organizing and coordinating the logistical aspects of the events
- making planning of preparations, materials and staff needed based on monthly planning of events
- communicating with and managing the schedules of external suppliers/stakeholders and supervising them during their presence
- preparing and clearing up the scene on the day of the event: table & chairs, sound system, screen etc.
- serving snacks or drinks at the table or in the reception area
- providing support to other clusters
Cluster 3: General maintenance of the premises:
- managing the inventory of furniture and equipment
- maintenance of furniture and other items
- polishing wooden floors and furniture
- cleaning of carpets and curtains
- washing and treating specific objects (wood, silver, tin, etc.)
- managing the ICT systems (TV, internet)
- regular maintenance and cleaning of the personnel area
- following-up the wear and tear and repairs of the house
- reporting possible damage or wear and tear to the furniture and buildings
- coordinating with external suppliers/contractors for technical problems/reparations in the house, and supervising them during their presence
- conducting small maintenance of the appliances and minor repairs
- disposing of broken items that can no longer be used correctly
- identifying and welcoming guests to the residence in accordance with the safety regulations, managing the cloakroom
- providing support to the cook/caterer
- providing support to other clusters
Requirements:
- No degree required, a diploma in hotel management or related area is a plus
- Previous experience in similar jobs of 5 years
- Clean criminal record (Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian)
- Languages: Bahasa Indonesia and basic level of English

- Flexibility in working hours (40 hour on 5 day working week but partly in evenings/weekends)
